What is Chiropractic

Chiropractic is the 3rd largest primary healthcare profession in the western world behind medicine and dentistry.

The primary role of Chiropractors is to restore the function to the joints of the body, most importantly to the spine, allowing the nervous system to function optimally. Keeping spinal function at its optimum helps to speed up the healing process of the body.

Chiropractic is suitable for people of all ages. It is a whole body approach, not only restoring function to the nervous, muscular and skeletal systems but also giving advice on diet, nutrition and exercise.

Chiropractic in the UK is a Government registered profession. All Chiropractors in the UK have to remain registered with the General Chiropractic Council (GCC). In order to maintain annual registration chiropractors must continually update their skills through methods of continuing professional development (CPD).
